Which Arduino Board and accessories to choose ?

Hello,

I want to sense the room temperature every one hour and time stamp the temperature data. Afterwards the requirement is to send this time stamped temperature data over internet ( wired and/or wireless) to store in a database.

Can you please suggest which Arduino Board and what Arduino Board compatible accessories one needs to buy to create the desired system. Thanks in advance for your expert comments.
