Which arduino for USB to BNC?

Hello !

Recently our computer dieu and bought a new one, that is unfortunately "not compatible" with our acquisition system !

We were previously sending simple square waves at each image presentation from our PC parallel port to a BNC input on our acquisitor. I would need to do the exact same thing, but this time from a USB port, as our new computer doesn't have serial or parallel ports.

Is there an Arduino model that I can use as a sort of DAC, or simply to act as an adapter to send square waves from USB to BNC ?

Thanks !

Interesting problem, but you are confusing a square wave with a message based system such as the USB port on your new computer. Not even close!
Best option is to add a parallel port expansion board to the new PC and then you will not have to rewrite the PC program.
