Which Arduino would be best to help make a regular USB keyboard Bluetooth?

While working on school projects, sometimes I have to do it on the run. This is why I want to make my keyboard Bluetooth and compatible with a iPad mini. Typing on a small screen is annoying and tedious. I also don't want to go out and buy a $60-$120 Bluetooth keyboard, when I could just use a Arduino to assist me in making old tech work with new tech. I'm also open to using different amounts of adapters to make a wired connection.

Tell me what you guys think! :grinning:

Thank you, fellow Arduino Users!

You can use a Leonardo as a PC keyboard over the USB connection - but, AFAIK, the USB connection is an essential part of the process.

I don't think it would be a simple matter to make an Arduino work as a bluetooth keyboard. Perhaps that is why they cost $60 +

Well, thanks for trying to help!

Wyattawa: Well, thanks for trying to help! :)

I'm not sure how to interpret that comment.
