Which board to select for ESP32-S3-WROOM-1

so many choice which one should i choose for right one ?

Based on the boards.txt (ESP32 board package version 3.0.5), there is a Fri3d Badge 2024 (ESP32-S3-WROOM-1). Look for it in the list.

I don't use ESP32 boards so that's all that I can say.

Note:
It might be easier to use tools/boards to scroll through the list.

for the ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1 I select under Tools>Board ESP32S3 Dev Module

I find the generic "ESP32 Dev Module" works with all my ESP32 boards

same here!
generally I use "ESP32 Dev Module" or "ESP32C3 Dev Module" or "ESP32S3 Dev Module" depending upon the ESP32 series including custom boards - may need to change some parameters such as "Partition Scheme" etc
there are odd exceptions such as the ESP32-CAM etc
