Hi all, I need an H bridge to drive my trailer tug. It has two 12v 500 watt motors.
On ebay I found this 100a High Power Dual Channel H-bridge DC Motor Driver Module for sale online | eBay
Has anyone had experience with this unit?
Are there any other H Bridges I should be looking at?
thanks
Did you find the modules datasheet? If not don't buy it!. If you did read it can it cope with the voltage and current you will be using?

100A at 12V is 1200W so that unit may be overkill for your 500W motors. Also not good that the pins are labeled in Chinese. Also not good that the diagram shows a minimum input voltage of 15V (even though the text says 12V). Also bad that there is no brand name, manufacturer name, or model number shown.
You might look at the below H-bridges for your application.
Hi I tried this
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181768328782?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
It worked fine on small 12v motors but burnt out straight away when connected to the two 500w motors. Interestingly it only burnt out forward direction on both channels but still will do reverse. These motors are geared very low, 302:1 as they are meant to be able to move up to 1200kg each on an up to 5deg incline, I wouldnt have thought they would draw much more than 500w on start, maybe wrong?
I have two 43A bridges on the way, will give them a go
