You can google the number , but it maybe obsolete .
It may get hot because of a fault elsewhere in the circuit or it might be “ normal” to get warm.
It might be not right for your phone ?( too much load )
It probably detects the voltage of your just charged powerbank and as soon as it detects a load it starts venting the overcharge.
Read page 5 of the datasheet.
You have to define "Heating". It does have battery current flowing through it. If it's touchable, its probably fine. If it burns your finger and leaves the partnumber in your skin its too hot.
Looks like somebody did a "remove & replace" operation there.
The 4 leads on one side are blobbed - and the 4 on the other are, perhaps, lacking.
Too much solder on one side. Too little on the other. Spatters everywhere. Ic housing damaged...
Many things could be wrong....
-Shorts
-Unconnected ic legs
Is supposed to be cooled from underneath. Should be soldered to board. But that is difficult with a soldering iron...
My guess: cooling is missing....
Solder got so hot it melted and dripped.
