Iam very new to arduino world and planning to buy a new board but can't choose between arduino yun and Intel Galileo gen2 Iam asking this question here because inter galileo is also arduino certified as well as both comes in almost same price range kindly please help and suggest regards
I don't know anything about the Galileo Gen 2, but I did hear that Gen 1 boards were notoriously slow on the Arduino-style I/O compared to a real Arduino.
Personally, I wouldn't go for a Yun or the Galileo. Instead, I would go for a Raspberry Pi B+ and attach an Uno or Nano via USB to it. Run Firmata on the Arduino, and you're set.
It's also in the same price range ballpark.
