Which port to Apply suction pressure

Hello,

I have a honey well HSC differential pressure sensor. I went through the document regarding this but could not find which port to apply the pressure when I want to measure suction pressure.
Can anyone please help me regarding this.

This is the link for the documentation regarding the pressure sensor.

I guess we can assume you are dealing with gasses, since only one port is usable for liquid. There is no such thing as suction pressure. If one gas pressure is less than the other, the sensor specs show it will measure the difference for you. The reason the document doesn't answer your question is it makes no difference!

The differential units measure port 1 - port 2, so suction on port 2, but check for any pressure limits
in the datasheet per device. The pinout diagrams all identify the two ports on differential devices.

you want the low pressure side as you are measuring vacuum
