Hi guys,
I'm new here and I hoped you couls help me with my dilemma. I want to build a simple audio player. I bought and amplifier (PAM 8403) and a speaker (3W 4Ohm). I wired it together as you can see at the photo in attachments. The blue wire goes to the arduino pin 9 ("music" pin), violet wire goes to 5V and black wire goes to GND.
When I plug it in like that it does a lot of noise. I did some digging and apparently I'm missing a resistor. But I don't know where to put and which value should I buy. Should the resistor be between arduino and amplifier on the violet wire or between amplifier and speaker? Thank you for your answers.
