Which Servo from EBay?

I'd like to play around with Arduino and Servos (have never used Servos before). What would be a good buy at EBay?

Just buy a cheap servo for testing and learning.

NOT SG90 microservo.

Just for my own information, why not ?

Plastic(nylon) gears all over.. If you, by accident/crash, turn it - gears are destroyd.
In general for "towerpro"

Yeah - but for lightweight use or for learning, it's perfect.

In other words, any servo can be easily destroyed if you overload it (which is why "servo savers" exist - but not generally for miniature servos).

Heck - I once broke the metal gears in a 24 volt Pittmann DC gear motor with an overload condition (that I didn't realize existed until I heard the "bang") - fortunately, it wasn't very expensive to fix (the motor and the fix were both bought surplus - now, had I purchased the motor new, on the other hand...)
