Why does Motor move when it shouldn't?


We are trying to build a ROV, most of the the code works the way we want. Except there appears to be some sort of stray signals that make the motors move or the light flicker randomly. I have tried averaging the joysticks, but that didn’t solve the problem. The setup is two Arduino UNOs the top side master is a R3 where joysticks are connected the other Arduino is a R2 were everything else is connected. we are using serial communication over 200ft of cable 2 conductor, sending signals to two Blue Robotics BESC30-R3 ESC that run motors, a Blue Robotics Lumen Light R2 and 2 two HiTec HS-5645MG servos. Any information, feed back or advise is much appreciated thank you.

Why does Motor somtime Move When joystick is in off position?

A joystick doesn't HAVE an OFF position, so your thread title makes no sense.
