There are several places where we can see if an user is online or not, for example, in each post beside the user name. In my case, I never see this in "online mode". This is normal or is some bug/feature?
You must be logged in for the "online" to show.

I'm logged, and I see my avatar in the top right corner, but next to my user name in the topics I see the "green LED" off.

Have you clicked on the 'Hide me' option? If you have then you might find that you can't unhide yourself.
Do you appear in the list at the bottom of the forum index page?
Maybe I had changed the 'Hide me' option, but I can't find it, so I can't tell with sure. No, I don't appear in the list at the bottom of the forum index page too.
Yup, you ticked it. And you can't undo it!
OK. Many thanks. There had to be an explanation to this weird behaviour! But I don't know when I change that option. Maybe in the last version of the forum, and now that option don't exists anymore in this version.
It was in the previous version of the forum software as that is where I tried it. It would be nice if it were fixed but I suspect that there are more pressing problems.
