why is my arduino nano burning?
climate change?
What do we win if we guess correctly?
My guess, is that its burning for the roasting of marshmallows.
remove the 230V power supply from Vin...
Flu season
You don't understand, My thingy is HOT does not in any way help me help you.
Schematics, code in code tags, images of your project are helpful things.
And? How is that helpful?
OK this will be like pulling teeth.
Did you put a resistor in series with the LED that exploded? If you did not then you burnt up your thingy.
No resistor to limit the current throught the LED to safe levels?
That's why your thingy id HOT. It's now broken.
They are joking because your question is not serious.
A LED can only have X amount of current going through it or it BLOWS UP.
A resistor limits the LED current to a safe operating level.
Simple, you aksed the thingy to supply more current then it is capable of, so it broke.

.
I paid like 30 dollars for it and now its broken just because i didnt put a resistor for the led
Actually an attitude caused the burn out.
Remember that comment?
I use 330 Ohm resistors to limits the current though an LED from a MCU.
With what are you Powering Your nano with?

.
9v battery it came with my arduino uno
does the arduino nano have a voltage regulator?
Where did u connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery to?(which pins on the arduino)
