Why does my esp32 smoke when i plug it with the power source do I need to add a resisor?
this is my connection to the esp32
all vcc goes to vcc
gnd as well
for my Ph sensor its connected to I025
for my Dissolved oxygen sensor its connected to A1
for my relay its connected to IO1
for my lcd its connected to scl & sda
Did you - however - "manage" to make contact between Vcc and 3,3V?
If you "feed in" 5V into the 3.3V-pin. That is one possible reason why the magic smoke appears. Unfortunately Aladdin did not appear to fullfill your wishes.
This can even happen if a small metallic object is lying at the wrong place
Did you solder the ESP32-board into the PCB or is the ESP32-board plugged into a row of female socketstrip ?
Before I connect micocontrollers to a PCB I do a careful checking
are all components connected like they should?
are there no shortcuts ?
Taking care of no metallic things laying around near to the PCB
