I must say this puzzled me a bit. I've got the korad ka3005p (basic and cheap, but enough for me for now ^^). And when i use the current set/limit, the c.c. light goes on, which is nicely explained in the manual to mean that my supply is now in constant current mode (otherwise it's the c.v. led that lights indicating it's on constant voltage mode).
But as i read more, i'll get used to what terminology is usually used where ^^.

I must say, this entire discussion does bring some temptation to start looking up the basics of semiconductors again. I've learned some about it at university probably about 10 years ago, i remember the very basic abstract way it works. But after having been talking about semiconductors for a few days, your brain starts to want more and more XD.
