I'm sorry if this is a dumb question.... I'm new here. I've tried searching the forum and looking in several different categories for the answer. I've looked for an 'about' or 'read me first post' and I came up empty.
There seems to be no forum category for Uno R3. Am I just not looking in the right place?
The only one I can see is for the R4.
The categories for the new boards such as the Uno R4 and Nano 32 were added un order to provide a place where questions relating specifically to them could be posted. This helps the Arduino staff keep track of any common problems that may arise and to deal with them quickly
If there were categories for every Arduino board then common questions that might apply to many boards would be scattered throughout the forum
In general, questions about long standing boards such as the Uno R3 and Nano are best asked in the Programming or Project Guidance categories or in special categories such as Displays, but there are no hard and fast rules
Don't forget that the forum has a Search facility that can be useful in finding information either placed in the wrong category or posted correctly but in an obscure category
Personally I think that there are far too many categories. There is work going on to tidy them up and rename some of them, some of which has already been done
