I don't think he was intentionally trying to waste anyone's time.
I suggested he move the thread from Project Guidance to Networking, Protocols, .... Where someone might be able to help.
Somehow he started a new thread. Wires crossed. Somewhat my fault.
I think maybe he should go back to the beginning. Forget all the mySQL stuff. Make a GET work in the simplest case, just using softwareserial.h library, thingspeak server, his node mcu, and an uno, then move to mySQL or PDO, can you tell I am not a web developer?
I rent php/apache servers, as I cannot keep up with the constant security updates, and I would rather spend my time making stuff than updating software.
