Why won't my blink sketch compile and upload? NodeMCUE32s

Hey Everyone.
I installed the latest Arduino IDE no problem and I cloned the Espressif repo using a fresh install of git per these instuctions https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/blob/master/docs/arduino-ide/windows.md, and I made sure I choose the exact board in the menu (it was there) but when I tried to run a simple blink sketch I got a compiling error:

Arduino: 1.8.10 (Windows 10), Board: "Node32s, Default, 80MHz, 921600, None"

exec: "C:\\Users\\MY_USERNAME\\Documents\\Arduino\\hardware\\espressif\\esp32/tools/xtensa-esp32-elf/bin/xtensa-esp32-elf-g++": file does not exist
Error compiling for board Node32s.

HAHAHAHAHA
I forgot to keep reading the instructions after I cloned the git repo lolol.
I never opened the got bash and did all the get.exe stuff
