Why?

After some years on/off succes projects and far too many late ours :o
The thing is... and i am sure most will think that its just me - anyway i will be happy to give you eksampel if interested;

Why is the whole arduino circus (installing, libery, stupid coding tweeks, wery bad exampels ect ect) made so deliberately bad (and yes i know c++).
And no debate about it, any fool can see it. No reason at all... well, other than the usual; keeping it mysterius, scaring off newcomers, hence... uhh, we are so f...... clewer.

well... thing is ardunio succesfully made my kids absolutly NOT interested in programming and electronic. I get the idea, and been advodcating it for years, but.... its no use, there must be some kind of sick mind, gettin off on wasting countless ours of peopes lives, i for one is now done.
Wery bad product, wery good idea so shame on you.

If you don't like it then you can either find something better or get involved to improve things. I've found Arduino to be very open to contributions from the community. Even someone with very little experience can make significant positive contributions but you have to make the effort, not just throw up some typo-ridden rant on a forum.

jraarhus:
libery

Please explain what you consider to be deliberately bad about "libery".

jraarhus:
stupid coding tweeks

Please list these "stupid coding tweeks" you are referring to.

jraarhus:
wery bad exampels

Please list which "exampels" you consider to be "wery bad" and how you think they could be improved.

jraarhus:
ect ect

That's not helpful. If you want to actually make a change, rather than just venting you need to provide specific information.

I disagree, the thing I most like about Arduino is it specifically tries to do away with all that. Of course there is still room for improvement. The problem is the experienced developers involved with creating these tools have not been a beginner for many years so they've lost that perspective. Things that seem obvious to them are not to a beginner. For this reason input from beginners is very valuable if they make the effort to express themselves in a coherent manner.

Agree with Pert.

Doesnt take much looking to find people happy the discovered Arduino or similar.
If you don't want to code or build there are plenty of gadgets off the shelf in shiny boxes at many more times the cost of building it yourself.

Admittedly the cost also takes away from the pleasure and excitement found found in building your own device but whatever floats your boat.

I find its given me a new appreciation for things I often took for granted and a better understanding of code.

In more agreement with Pert...Had I found them too hard to play with I would have moved on to something a little less demanding.

By all means be more specific about the individual problems you have and there is plenty of people in here who are almost all just users like you who will try to help you...None of us get paid around here except in the satisfaction of helping another.

If you spell switch case swatch cape, it's gonna be hard.

I find it give mee a neuw appreciashon fer fings I often took fur grantid an a batter understanding of code.

In moore agreement with Pert...Ad I found thum too hard to play wiff I wood ave mooved on to somat a likkle less demanding.

As the OP shows ZERO posts (as I write this) I assume this is the first time he has contributed to the Arduino system.

Maybe his comments have the same value as his other contributions to the Arduino community ?

Especially as he has provided no "exampels" of what he is complaining about.

Didn't you know? Just to piss you off!

One, for sure.

You should ask for double your money back. 0 + 0 == what you deserve.

And you had nothing to do with it.
