wich arduino for cmucam4

hello everyone.. im new here..
i have some questions..
i want to use a cmucam4 so i have to use arduino..
and on my robot i need to use 3 ax12 servos , 2 emg30 , 1 ultrasonic (or more)..
in this case.. wich arduino is the best for me??
and how can i set cmucam4 with arduino?? (sorry about english)

i want to use a cmucam4

For what? Don't expect ANY Arduino to use data from the camera for anything useful.

i want to participate in robocup junior rescue and i want to do image processing. i found cmu cam4 and its good for finding colors
(its good point is in finding colors)
for using cmucam i have to use arduino.. + arduino got library for cmucam and i've seen people used cmu cam with arduino. but i dont know "how" and thats my question..
.
maybe arduino mega is better than others in this usage!!

for using cmucam i have to use arduino

Why?

  • arduino got library for cmucam

So, why don't you use it?

and i've seen people used cmu cam with arduino.

Seen where?

but i dont know "how"

What have you tried?

maybe arduino mega is better than others in this usage!!

Maybe!!

because i got 2/5 months for whole project and i dont have time to design (is it right?) a board..
.
i want to.. but i didnt know wich one to use.. and now im going for mega2560
.
here: http://www.cmucam.org/projects/cmucam4/boards
.
i dont know about its electrics.. actually i have no idea to connect what from cmucam to what from arduino
.
i hope so!!!!!
.
my question and what im saying seem to be very simple , but you know , i really dont know these things and here i got nobody to explain me AND i want to learn.
thank you pauls for answering me.. and i appreciate if you help more.

Somewhere between this; ---> "because i got 2/5 months for whole project and i dont have time to design (is it right?) a board.." and here; ---> "i dont know about its electrics.. actually i have no idea to connect what from cmucam to what from arduino" a HUGE failure has occurred.

  1. It's good you want to learn
  2. copying others is only the most rudimentary way to learn
  3. Experimenting and failing will teach you a lot more
  4. Not trying guarantees no learning

If you "have no idea to connect what from cmucam to what from arduino" then that is where you start... Try to figure out WHY you are connecting each wire or you will learn nothing.

Sparkfun has a whole web page dedicated to the CMUCAM and references an arduino library. If it does not make sense to you, then all I can say is, you are not ready and need to spend time learning the basics about electronics that are preventing you from understanding what is available with a simple google search on "Arduino and CMUCAM"

You will have best results with getting help here if you actually have specifc questions about what you have tried and failed with... which, for example is why PaulS Asked so many questions... you need to be able to answer those... or you are just not "ready".

a HUGE failure has occurred.
i know.. some of my friends who are in my team , can design boards.. but not me!! and it will take time for them to do it.
thanks pwillard.. yeah.. testing is the best idea (basis of robotics :D)
.
you know im trying to somehow start my project with the most quantity of info that i can have.. hoping next time i will ask questions while using both of them.
thank you guys
