Wich technology to use in my doorlock project?

Hello everyone.

I want to make a doorlock enabled by a 4 digits password, fingerprints and then my phone but I don't know wich technology to use. Blutootooth, NFC ?

And then the lock will be connected and monitored from my PC by ethernet.

Is it feasable?

I guess it is possible and you could... use all techniques, it's just what you want.
Example-codes for all techniques exist. By breaking down your project in parts, getting each part to work and merging 'm in a final sketch, it could work.

I would worry about the stuff that could... go wrong though. If you entered the code correctly, also got a good reading of the fingerprintscanner, but have a flat battery in your phone, you may need to sleep outdoors. RFID would be better in that case. Will your house also recognize you when you've still have a load of paint on your fingers after helping the neighbours ?

I've chosen bluetooth, because a bluetooth serial port will be much easier to set than NFC card emulation with my android phone.

Apparently the NFC card emulation for android has been disabled by Google for security purpose and is now not fully available in the 4.4 version (KitKat).
