Wide range linear hall effect sensor for smooth ramped output

Hi,

I'm looking for a wide range linear hall effect sensor to measure the distance from the sensor to the magnet to create a smooth ramped output over a maximum distance of 50mm.

Firstly is it possible to use linear hall effect sensors over this distance?

And if yes can the forum recommend a sensor for the job.
