Width issue with forum menu

I usually keep my laptop screen split left and right with 2 tasks going at once.
Sometime in the past week or two, something changed on the forum and now I can't properly use the forum menu when the browser is half width.

Here it's full width:

But on half width, the top bar of the menu is missing or pushed into negative space above the viewing plane:

Anyone else having a similar issue?

I see where the problem is. I added a temporary fix both here and on your staging site while we fix the code on our side.

Please let me know if all is working as it should or if there are other problems related to the fix

For a temporary fix, it's a good one.
Looks a bit higher than the standard (wide in my case) view.
