Wifi and ble very low strength signal

I agree, fortunately I still have real solder for my projects

The NINA modules are not specifically designed for prototyping. They are used for commercial products.
No Arduino board has any more protection against mishandling than any other development board used by professionals.

Beginners will have to learn how to handle sensitive electronic components. That lesson might cost money but it is less painful then learning that soldering irons get very hot.

I would have to see the modules close up to offer a worthwhile opinion. Also a sample of two failures isn't conclusive, although it's certainly a red flag if one user got both.

Where did you find the instructions on how to update the WiFi firmware?
TIA

That's worrying when I'm getting lots of blackouts and can't find a reason.

Indeed! Many don't take any precautions for static let alone anything else.

The easiest way is to install the hourly build of the IDE. You can download from https://www.arduino.cc/en/software

Thank you.

For me it was combination of the hourly build and the web editor
