So I have two MKR 1010 boards bought from Farnell In One in the UK, so genuine Adruino products. I am running Arduino 2.0.0 beta 11. on a Windows 10 Dell mobile work station
Both boards firmware has been updated to 1.4.8 successfully.
All the standard examples work fine except if I try and do anything with WiFi!? It doesn't matter which example I use access point, web server, with the correct SSID and password the board sees the wifi module and throws up no errors but even on a simple wifi scan it says there are no networks.
My laptop can see at least 4 with good signal strength, one not only 6 feet away.
The reason I bought my second board was because I thought the first had a faulty wifi module. It is as if the ublox module is 'deaf' so to speak and hasn't got an antenna attached.
I'm open to ideas.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Hey there. I had the same problem. Did you try using the AP sketch and holding your phone close to your arduino? My arduino AP showed up on my phone when I was close to it, but went away when I moved more than 30cm away. After contacting support they told me that I should send it in for replacement due to a faulty wifi antenna
