wifi external sensor and wifi ip camera

hello all,

i would like to know is possible to use arduino to make external sensor for ip camera?

arduino uno r3 + pir sensor + dfrobot WiFi Shield V2.1

is possible to make the ip camera capture when the pir sensor detect something? because ip camera build is by another manufacturer, can arduino control it ?

Depends on the camera. The Arduino should certainly be able to turn it on and off, and trigger it to take a picture.
