Wifi Shield Choice

Greetings all,

Currently I have Arduino Uno R3 and was wondering what shield to use to wirelessly transmit some data?

I'm aware Arduino have released their own wifi shield.

Essentially, I need to do is transmit two analog signals on a wifi network for later processing.

Could anyone suggest a shield that may be suitable for me?

Many thanks,

As far as I know there's just the one 'official' wifi shield, so that kind of narrows down your choices.

Also if you just want to transmit a couple of analog inputs you might want to look into getting a pair of XBees. They are pretty cheap and do point-to-point stuff well, and relatively simply.

The shipping times for the official arduino wifi shield is approx 15days+ (sadface)

Ive been looking at the Arduino WiFly Shield, looks like it should do the job? (readily available)

If you want to wirelessly transmit data, the two options that I recommend (extensive community use, so you're likely to find working code for both) are Xbee or RN-XV.
