Wifi Shield malfunction

Hi.

So, I have and Arduino Ethernet R3 that works no problems at all.

If I attach the WIFI Shield, then it almost causes a short-circuit.

Even without anything else connected, starts burning up and if connected by USB the computer starts popping errors that USB device had to be shut down for protection.

Any idea why this happens and how to solve it?

check the soldering of the wifi shield if there is a shortcut somewhere.
You could post (link to) photo's so we can compare with other shields (pictures)
