WIFI SHIELD & WIFI LIBRARY IS COMPATIBLE ON ARDUINO DUE?

Hi, I'm working on a sketch that requires a frequent (almost immediate) exchange of information between arduino (client) and a json web api. The processor of Arduino 1 doesn't complete an update process uder 2.5 seconds, so I thought to test it with Arduino 2, which has a much more powerful processor. I've tested it with the ethernet shield and Arduino 2 and it works fine: the update process lasts about 0.5 seconds.

I'd like to know if the WiFi Shield is compatible and if the wifi.h library is supported both also with Arduino 2.

I'm waiting for your reply. Thank you all.

UP!! help me

hello,
i am also working in arduino due and wifi shield, it is work you requried to connct the pin 7 and pin 3 of wifi shield ( means short) an then try.
it works but not working then check your arduino wifi shield firmware version using below code
#include <SPI.h>
#include <WiFi.h>

void setup(void) {
Serial.begin(9600);
Serial.println(“Setup…”);

Serial.print("Firmware ");
Serial.println(WiFi.firmwareVersion());
}

void loop(void) {
Serial.print("Firmware ");
Serial.println(WiFi.firmwareVersion());

Serial.println(“Scan networks”);
uint8_t numNets = WiFi.scanNetworks();

for (uint8_t i = 0; i < numNets; i++) {
Serial.print(WiFi.SSID(i));
Serial.print("\t");
Serial.println(WiFi.RSSI(i));
}
Serial.println();
delay(1000);
}

it is not version 1.0.1 then upgraded it…and then check it works fine.
