I'm very new to this but I have an ethernet shield attached to the uno and am using IDE 1.0.6
It took a while but everything is working. The next step is to move from a wired ethernet connection to wireless and that's where I get confused. I see things like an arduino wifi shield for about $80 US at amazon and a wireless SD shield ($25) and something about X-bee.
Can someone explain to me in plain English what there easiest way is to accomplish this. I'd prefer to spend more money on parts to offset development and installation aggravation. I see things like zero documentation with this stuff and needing to download current firmware but that doesn't work unless you cross certain pins during the download.
I'm also looking for a stable connection so if the best that any of these wireless options can offer is a few hours or a few days of connectivity before needing to be reset, then I don't even want to bother with it so please tell me now so I can avoid it.
