WiFlyHQ Library- tcpclient Example Problem

Hi,
I have been trying to run this example from the WiFlyHQ library, but the serial monitor is giving me weird output.

I just changed the SSID and the password, and the software serial pin numbers.
and the output i get in the serial monitor is :

I’ll be really grateful, if anyone could help me with this. Tell me what the problem is? or why is this happening ?

I just changed the ... software serial pin numbers.

Why? Do the new pin numbers match how the device is ACTUALLY connected? Typically, shields don't give you that flexibility.
