Will Arduino Mega ADK for Android work with Mac?

I accidentally bought the Arduino Mega ADK for Android, but want to use it for connecting to Arduino on Mac. Will it still work?

Yeah - it's an Arduino Mega 2560 with an added USB Host chip on-board.

So instead of using a PC or Mac to program it, you can use a smartphone?
