Will it do the same job?

Hi

I’m tired of ticking relays. They work, and they’re easy to work with. But they tick.
Would it be fair to assume that the solid state one also in the picture would do the exact same job as the tickers?
They can be found here: http://kortlink.dk/24fzk and http://kortlink.dk/24fzm
Thanks in advance for useful and kind answers.

Best regards,
Chris

What are the specifications of the two devices ?
Operating voltage and current ?
Maximum voltage and current that can be switched ?
Are you switching AC or DC and at what current and voltage ?

Switching AC. They should both work at 5V DC and take 250V on the switch.

What about their current switching capability ?

2A I think. I need .4 or .8 if i double the number of heating elements. It's for an incubator.
If the math's right. 230V AC 80W

With the figures that you quote you should be OK

How much current does the SSR take to operate ?
