Wind Power Idea Needed

I've used an Arduino board before, and I happen to have a windmill that turns constantly in about 8-15 mph of wind. If I can connect a small generator to this windmill, what could I do with an Arduino board to make this into an interesting project? Any ideas? One note, the device must be self powered, I do not want to run the Arduino board off of a battery.

add a small charger and a battery and throw some temp sensors , humidity sensor and anything else you can imagine. and if you want wireless gget an old linksys wrt54g and you can use it to talk to your arduino.
