Window Iot Arduino Wiring

Hello all,

this is my very first post in this forum.

Since a long time now, i try to build my own quadcopter with hybrid raspberry pi and arduino approach.
Using the Raspberry pi on the Copter as “mainframe” and the arduino as controlling unit for the quadcopter.

The Raspberry should handle the video streaming and data streaming to a remote control or a telemetry app which i write too.

In the last month i came across the windows IoT core for the raspberry pi, which sounds very interesting. While reading throught the topics i came across a topic called:

“windows iot arduino wiring”

i tried to figure out, what the advantages maybe are but i failed.

I wasn`t able to answer these question by myself, so i hope that maybe some of you can help my.

  1. Arduino Wiring can emulate all Pins that a Arduino have? Or do i need a shield like the Adafruit 16-Channel shield to have more PWM signals?

  2. is it possible to have hybrid, so that i can use the raspberry pi as “core” and the arduino as “flight-controller”
    Raspberry pi should do:

  3. connection to apps and remote

  4. connection to arduino (passing data and values from apps and remote)

  5. streaming video from drone to remote or app

Arduino should do:

  1. controlling flight

Second question is there a arduino remote to have a raspberry pi which flashes the arduino? Or can remotely use the arduino as a slave?

Is this a recommended approach?
