Windows 7 Driver problems

I have read everything I can, I followed the directions to a 'T' on the windows page and can't seem to fix my problem.

On my 64-bit windows 7 machine, it recognized the "Arduino UNO(COM 6)" in the device manager put has a yellow exclamation mark under it. with the device status of "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

Additionally I just noticed my COM 1 port has the same messages. I can't seem to find any fixes or suggestions how to fic this... does anyone here have any ideas?

The UNO works on an older computer, so I know it is good, just can't seem to get it work on the fast computer :-/

I have tried, unistalling, reinstalling, rebooting, unplugging, kicking and screaming :wink:

Ok well of course when I finally resort to posting here I find the answer. The common solution for Code 39 problems is to delete the upperfilter and lowerfilter registry keys... low and behold that worked...
