Hi I hope you can help as I am going out of my mind and have wasted days trying to nut this out.
I have two boards a Nano and a Uno WiFi both of which are not detected by windows..
I use windows 10 but set up and have tried this on 3 computers and all come up the same.
I have tried swapping out the cables to no avail and also set up a computer on windows 8.1 but still no joy.
Now I have loaded up successfully the CH341SER.EXE also no joy.. as still get the same errors
The error I get is looking at Device Manager is - Unknowen USB Device (Device descriptor failure)
Driving me nuts.. is there another way to upload via blue tooth or somthing though I really want to resolve the core issue.
Now both boards use different com ports for some reason, but just to let you know i do check and adjust the com Ports for each of the boards.. Now I am a relatively in experienced user so would like to double check all the other settings like which programmer is best for each board..
I assume its because the boards arnt detected properly when uploading blink, it actually looks like it is going to work letting you know the sketch uses 924 bytes %2 of program storage... the green bar progresses right across but then looks to freeze up upon completion I guess when going to write as it gets locked up then coming up with-
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 10 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x20
An error occurred while uploading the sketch
History Snapshot- I had a mega board which is years old which I always used to use then upgraded myself getting the Nano for its size. Now I remember using the Nano though it was a while back but now getting back into things I found my Nano now issues- so I wondered if it was the unit itself so got an Uno with wifi but found this didnt solve the problem..
Please for my sanity what do I have to do as my printer uses a Mega board and I have not been game to use it lest fear of failure...
