Earlier this year the Windows IoT Enterprise platform was opened up to the i.MX 8M family of processors, to include (unless I am mistaken) the same i.MX 8M Mini processor used on the Portenta X8. Now I understand that the idea of running Windows on an Arduino would likely run anathema to the sensibilities of many in this community. But I am curious as to the possibility, I would love to be able to leverage the simplicity of designing a GUI in Visual Studio with XAML and C# and run that on hardware I know/love/trust. I am ordering a Portenta X8 to give a go at it, does anyone know of any major hurdles compared to loading windows on a standard i.MX 8M Mini SBC?
