Hello folks,
so I've got that UNO R3 board, and the issue is that my PC (and 3 others I tested on) won't recognize the board, and Arduino IDE doesn't show it's port when it's connected. I do have the CH340 drivers installed, and by other boards work fine, but this one won't. The main difference is that my other boards have soldered on-board chips, while this one has with a socket, so an replaceable one. It's a ATMega328p chip, on a Uno "R3" board.
Windows 7 64 bit, also tested on other Windows 7 machines also on a Windows 10, show in Device manager the Arduino as an "Unknown device", no matter what driver I install for it.
I read somewhere that updating/changing the firmware would fix it, but using "FLIP" software, ATMega328p chip isn't on the list all, so that one's out. Also, a yellow LED and a green one are constantly on, not blinking.
Has anyone had any such issues?
Thanks in advance.
