Hi everyone i am new to the Arduino and to day i bought myself a Arduino UNO and i am stuck i have downloaded the drivers but when i plugged the Arduino the is no pop up also i cant find the Arduino in the PORT's in the Device Manager. Please help!!

Mine works on ver. 0018 of the software but on ver. 1 it flips from port to port when I plug it in and never connects. Still trying to figure that out, or wait for the bug(?) to get fixed, but relying on the old version to get some work done in the mean time.
In xp if the com port keep changing, go to the advanced comport settings and assign it a comport known not to be in use, then save.
