As I haven't heard anything back on the subject, I'm going to assume that it presently isn't possible with this LCD. Looking at the number leads coming from it, it probably isn't the best choice for an Uno anyway unless alot of them aren't necessary. Either way, I'll turn my attention to a different LCD screen.
