Saw a news item saying that they may get snow in the mountains of Scotland. This global warming thing is really getting out of hand, eh.
And now it's early afternoon, a nice sunny low 20s C here in winter

Crawley is some six degrees north of the latitude of St Johns, Nova Scotia, a place not noted for its balmy climate.
Crawley is doing quite nicely, I'd say.

Here is Florence, Italy. Usually, on august, we had in the past years temperatures of about 35/38°C (sometimes 38/40) with 20/24 at night (sometimes 18/20).
Yeasterday was 13/28!!! Totally mad!
here in Adelaide, South Australia, it has been f.cold!!!
When I lived up in the hills you expected it to drop below 0C, but not down in town!!!
London had hail a week or so back, its the middle of summer.
