Wireless Audio Transmitter/Receiver

Hi everyone, I'm new to the Arduino community and recently bought an Uno as well as a pair of mini pro's. After viewing the ideas of others regarding wireless audio transmission, I wanted to post a topic here for a bit of advice.

I wanted to place a wireless microphone powered by a battery inside a helmet and have my speech audio transmitted to a receiver within 1 meter away and played out of a small speaker, perhaps the size of a normal PC case speaker. Would it be possible to accomplish something of this sort using the pro mini's ?

Any help and guidance is appreciated

What function do the Mini Pros serve?

What's wrong with a simple analogue solution?
(FM wireless mic & receiver)

The FM path will work just fine, it was merely a subject of time. Since I already have the mini's I was wanting to work with those but it may just as easy to purchase the FM rec/trans kit and build that up.

Thanks
