Hi Everyone,
I'm outfitting my new workshop and I'm currently setting up the dust collection system - I have a series of blast gates on my ducting, one for each tool and some more around the shop, and I wanted a way to automate my dust collection system to turn on when I open any one of the gates.
I've done this in the past with a relay back at the system triggered by micro switches on my dust gates - this worked fine on my small workshop, the ducting runs weren't long so I just ran cables along the duct to each switch - changing the ducting was a real hassle though, lengthening cables to move the blast gates.
This time around I want to add wireless switches to the blast gates - just looking for some advice on the best way to approach this with multiple blast gates. I've used NRF24l01 modules with an Attiny85 for a different project in the past so I thought that may be an option, but it seems like a waste for single channel rf?
