Wireless communication between arduinos [long range]

Hi,

I alredy tried to use 433MHZ modules to communicate between arduinos and it does not get too far away. I also tried nrf24l01+ PA LNA and it works fine but I cant really get long range communication.

So I looked at internet and there are many types of radios (rc) that can easily pass 1 mile distance. I found many sellers of those radios but I only want the transmitter and also the recceiver so I can read the data using pulseIn.

Do you recommend any place or keywork I can use to find long range transmitter/receiver that comes inside those radios (rc)?

May I suggest that you add "long range" to your title. Edit your Original Post to change the title.

I was going to suggest nRF24s because I did not know you wanted long range devices.
