Wireless communication between sensors and platform

Hi,
I would like to know what are different ways of communicating between sensor and platform.
I actually want to know the details on how the communication happens.

like how can sensor send signal only to the right platform .. and things like that

Very broad subject - sounds like u need to befriend Google...

But to broadly answer one aspect of your question, depending on the RF modules u are using, u can define an address for each unit. You then control messaging by defining to which address(es) outgoing messages are to be sent and from which address(es) incoming messages should be accepted.
