Hi,
Is there any libraries available for wireless communication between two arduino 101 boards (other than onboard bluetooth low energy module, which don't support board to board communication). I have 434 Mhz transceivers.
other than onboard bluetooth low energy module, which don't support board to board communication
Why not? What the on-board bluetooth module is paired with seems immaterial. I can't imagine that it matters what the other device is.
Hi Paul,
Thank you for the reply. The onboard ble module can only act as a periferal device not as a central device as of now. Can you share any example codes for board to board communication. I need it for clock synchronization
PaulS:
Why not?
I think the problem might be making the connection. Contrary to rumour, it appears that the 101 can handle two way traffic, but not with another 101. One of the problems is the non-information bordering on disinformation in a masterpiece of moronic technobabble written by a nerd named Nhuy who works for Intel. It appears also that the BLE has a crippled command set. You wonder why they bothered. You might also wonder if Nhuy still has a job.
The solution may be to add a plain-vanilla HC-05 or HM-10 to only one of the 101s. This can be configured as a master and to auto-connect in the normal manner. Ultimately, bluetooth is bluetooth and, as PaulS implies, the other 101 should never know the difference.
