Hi has anyone got one of these units, made by MCElectronics in Argentina if so can you let my know how to configure the four switches and two relays.

I have had the unit sitting on my shelf for over a year and just decided to use it and Microchip.com tell me they don't support it any more, I have to working sending text ring using AT commands but that's about it, it is still on demo on youtube.

Maybe looking at some sketches using the shield will help w/ your settings ... The comments have some info. Hey Ray!

That's great, thanks very much the discussion about the MCE unit is just what I've been looking for just got to translate it, but looks promising. I have been trawling the net and couldn't find anyone using the MCE unit....so thanks again.

From a very wet and windy Yorkshire, United Kingdom

Have a great weekend

Hi Ray

Thanks for the links.....I have got these, I bought the module from Microchip but they no longer support it, when the packet came it just had the board in it and details for downloading manual etc as the link, but I could not see how they accessed the buttons and relays and what the jumpers did.

I am old school electronics (62 years old) so I am just learning this type of stuff and AT commands. Perhaps I am missing something in the text?

I did watch the MCE video on youtube and they had a small motor and blade, they accessed the board by calling from a mobile (cellphone) , I zoomed in and it shows that the have a wire from the ring terminal to the relay so that seems pretty straightforward! they took power from the board to the motor via the relay contacts.

All the best

Steve
