wireless interface

for convenience can i communicate with my mega or uno boards wirelessly?

i see that there are various wireless to usb adapters available, just requiring an a to b male to femail usb adapter. i see that the 5 volt connection on the mega usb socket is only one way(input only)

If you thinking about connecting a USB to wifi adapter on the Uno or Mega’s USB port, that is not going to work.

What will be communicating wirelessly with your Mega?

What distance will the wireless communication need to operate over?

What sort of data (quantity and frequency) do you wish to send by wireless?

Er no, ignore the connector.

A USB WiFi adapter is a slave device, that needs to plug into a master USB connection such as those on PCs, it also needs quite a complex driver (in Windows) toi make it work.

The USB connector on the UNO or Mega is for a USB slave device (the serial to USB) you cannot connect another slave device (such as a Wifi adapter) just by changing the connectors.

Well you can connect it, but it wont work.
