Wireless recommendations

Hi!
I am planning on buildning my first wireless project. I have already made a robot car which I could controll from my PC with a joystick, but through the USB cable. I want to take this to the next step and make it wireless.
So I am going to buy an aditional Arduino Uno and two wireless adapters of some sort. Here is where I need your help. I want to know what type of module I should buy. I want it to have some range, so the cheap bluetooth ones seem to short. I don't want it to be too hard to get it working either, I am quite a beginner.

I have been looking on this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NRF24L01-Ver1A-Wireless-Transceiver-Module-2-4GHz-125-Channel-for-Arduino-UNO-/181119554985?pt=UK_Computing_Other_Computing_Networking&hash=item2a2b9115a9
Would this be a good choice?

Any help is greatly apriciated!

You might also like to consider the Moteino All about Moteino | LowPowerLab and DelTino http://www.deltino.com/ modules both of which have the wireless transceiver built in. The DelTino modules also include a motor driver h-bridge.

I’ve fiddled with these and have restarted a project using them and currently have them under a kind of soak test. So far so good and pretty cheap too. Good proof of concept even if they didn’t hold up in a more demanding environment (which they may). Notice somewhere you can externalise the aerial as well.

I ended up with maniacbug’s library (Google will get you there in a trice).

What do you mean by "these"?
